An excellent lunch-time walk today! There are now three heath spotted orchids in the field (a 50% increase on last year!), the Merlin app confirmed my previous sighting of a Redstart, and I saw a lizard on one of the reptile mats that we’ve left out (although I was alas too slow and clumsy to get a proper look).
