After a week digging out enormous amounts of topsoil and clay, moving vast boulders, hunting down land-drains and building hibernacula, four ponds are finished! We’re half-way through the new pondscape.

We drove dumpers…

…we moved enormous boulders…

…we built hibernacula…

…and a small hill…

…we found generations of land-drains…

…pulled them out…

…and piled them up!

We kept digging…

…and eventually they were dug!
